Publication Policy of Health Tourism Journal

The Health Tourism Journal (founded in January 2025) follows a rigorous publication policy to ensure academic excellence in the field of health, wellness, and medical tourism research.

Submission Cycles and Deadlines

1. Publication Frequency: The journal is published twice a year (June and December). Each issue contains five original articles.
2. Deadlines: For the June issue, submissions must be completed by the end of April. For the December issue, by the end of October.

Peer Review and Plagiarism Policy

3. Peer Review Process: Manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-masked peer review by a minimum of İki reviewers.
4. Plagiarism Screening: All manuscripts are subject to screening via Turnitin or iThenticate. The similarity index must not exceed 15%.

Ethical Requirements and Rights

5. Ethical Approval: Explicit approval details must be included within the methodology section for studies necessitating ethical approval.
6. Publication Rights: All publication rights are vested in the journal. Articles may not be republished without appropriate citation.
